The Role of Halimbubu Foundation in Promoting Ta’awun Among Youth
Abstract
This study aims to examine the role of the halimbubu Foundation in promoting ta’awun values among youth amid the challenges of modernization. This research employs a qualitative approach using interviews as the primary data collection method. The participants consist of youth members and administrators of the Halimbubu Foundation in Baubau City. The findings reveal that the foundation plays a significant role in fostering mutual help, social awareness, and cooperative attitudes through various religious and social activities. In addition, the foundation faces challenges from modern lifestyles that tend to reduce social interaction among youth. However, continuous guidance and structured programs have helped strengthen ta’awun values. In conclusion, the Halimbubu Foundation contributes positively to building moral values of ta’awun among youth despite the influence of modernization.
